IFE Foodapest WALK THE WORLD

IFE Foodapest is the region’s only international trade exhibition. With companies
from 16 countries represented in 2006 visitors will be drawn by an even greater international presence at IFE Foodapest 2007.
‘Walk The World’ will attract even more food, drink and hospitality buyers in 2007.

MEAT & POULTRY
Meat and poultry are a staple part of the diet across the whole Balkan region,
consumers love their protein!
This sector showcases what is available nationally and also brings new textures and flavours from overseas markets to local connoisseurs.

CHEESE & DAIRY
This new dedicated area with its vast array of products on display spanning
traditional cheeses, yoghurts, milkshakes, is a cheese and dairy buyers delight. As Hungary's second largest food sector (after meat), visitors can't get enough!

ORGANIC & NATURAL PRODUCTS
Consumers are buying more fruit and vegetables as national governments
promote healthy eating. The fresh produce sector is Hungary's fastest growing at 20% pa and offers suppliers significant 'early entry' opportunities in a
mushrooming market.

BAKERY & CONFECTIONERY
NEW
Anything goes…. From pastries and biscuits to jelly sweets and the finest chocolate, this sector is experiencing a rise in sales across the entire region. Take part, meet leading buyers and test the market - the rewards can be sweet!

BEERS WINE & SPIRITS, SOFT DRINKS
A proven attraction, the beverages section is greatly enhanced with Sommelier led Wine Tastings in conjunction with the AMC and Spain's Excal. The soft drinks market is experiencing exceptionally strong growth throughout the entire region.

FROZEN FOOD
NEW
As supply chain management improves dramatically to service the ‘bigstores’
sector and demand is driven by the burgeoning hospitality industry, the
opportunities for suppliers of frozen produce are greater than ever.

GENERAL FOOD
Traditionally and still the major sector, long life and processed foods generate a large proportion of imports into the region. Join the pioneering exporters from around the globe as they take their first steps to enter this huge market.

HOSPITALITY
NEW
Reflecting the rapid development of the foodservice & hospitality industries in the region, a dedicated Hospitality sector is being launched as part of IFE Foodapest. This new showcase will display the very latest and innovative equipment and services to leading catering, restaurant and hotel buyers visiting the exhibition. Greater prominence for this increasing sector offers global producers a new platform to reach the key specifiers who source hospitality supplies for their establishments.

business with the entire region. The new combination of these two strong events will attract more business visitors than ever especially for the countries
surrounding Hungary"

Supporting Organisations
IFE Foodapest is giving the key international groups and associations something to think about. These organisations bring national pavilions to the show, give grants or financial assistance to exporters from their countries. They have recognised IFE Foodapest as an efficient and cost effective route to new business
markets. Can you afford not to?
